GRODNO, 15 April (BelTA) - A delegation from Grodno Oblast paid a working visit to the city of Lanzhou in China’s Gansu Province as part of preparations for the upcoming Belarus-China regional forum, the press service of the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee told BelTA.
The forum will take place in Lanzhou on 28-30 June 2026.
On the first day of the visit, preparations for the event were discussed at a working meeting between Grodno Oblast Deputy Governor Andrei Boltrik and Vice Governor of Gansu Province Wang Bin. The discussion focused on organizational matters and the establishment of mutually beneficial partnerships that will support cooperation across various sectors.
On 15 April, the investment potential of the Grodno Oblast was presented in Lanzhou.
According to the Grodno Oblast Executive Committee, the Belarus-China regional forum will become an important platform to strengthen relations and ensure their practical implementation, with a focus on developing the most promising projects.
The forum is set to include a plenary session, panel discussions, and B2B events (business meetings and conferences) with representatives of Chinese companies.
