Ghana National Fire Service interested in cooperation with Belarusian colleagues

MINSK, 5 November (BelTA) – Ghana National Fire Service is interested in cooperation with the Institute for Training and Professional Development of the University of Civil Protection at the Emergencies Ministry of Belarus, the head of the Ghana delegation,  Member of the Board of the Defense Industries Holding Company under the Defense Ministry of the Republic Samuel Kwasi Anomah said as he visited the educational institution, official representative of the university Andrei Sadovsky told BelTA.

"Today, the guests got acquainted with the Belarusian experience of training specialists for foreign countries, visited classrooms, laboratories, and training grounds," Andrei Sadovsky said.

On 4 November the University of Civil Protection hosted a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Emergencies Minister Andrei Yurzhits and Chief Samuel Kwasi Anomah. The parties discussed cooperation in training specialists from Ghana at the university of the Emergencies Ministry and also supplies of rescue equipment, personal protective equipment, and fire-entry suits made in Belarus. The African guests were shown the latest technology of the University of Civil Protection and the Belarusian best practices in training specialists for the Belarusian Emergencies Ministry.
