Fourth Forum of Regions to see 250 Belarus’ innovative solutions

MINSK, 22 June (BelTA) – Belarus’ national pavilion at the 4th Forum of the Regions of Russia and Belarus due in Moscow on 29-30 June will feature some 250 solutions and samples of innovative and hi-tech products of 84 Belarusian organizations, BelTA learned from the exhibition company Belinterexpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

The solutions and samples to be presented will include spectroscopic devices for Earth remote sensing, next generation energy storage devices, augmented reality glasses, IT solutions, and ultrasound technologies along with cardiology, transplant, oncology and dental equipment. The Belarusian pavilion will also showcase some cutting-edge models of electric transport: a Geely SC7-based electric car powered by the Joint Institute of Mechanical Engineering of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (NASB), an environmentally friendly electric bus developed by the Management Company of the Belkommunmash Holding Company, and an electric vehicle charging station of the Vityaz company.

The NASB Scientific and Production Center of Multifunctional Unmanned Systems will present unmanned aircraft systems Busel M40 and Burevestnik with flight range up to 290km. The NASB R&D enterprise Geoinformation Systems will present a multi-level Earth remote sensing system and a Belarusian space vehicle to monitor natural and man-made emergencies, draw topographic and navigation maps, control natural resources, ameliorative objects, and farm lands.

The NASB Institute of Bioorganic Chemistry will showcase next generation antitumor medications made entirely in-house. These products are unparalleled in a number of technology solutions. The SolarLS company and Minsk City Hospital No. 9 will co-present a device for the hypothermic storage of donated tissues.

The NASB Institute of Microbiology will put on display its brand new green technology solutions: biopesticides for crop protection, preparations for wastewater and soil treatment and for the prevention and treatment of animal diseases.

Game Stream, the company that made such games as World of Tanks, Operation Bagration, and Order of War, will unveil its new Data Science projects.

Belarus’ BRSM Youth Union will present the best projects of the 100 Ideas for Belarus national contest, among them a glove for stroke recovery.

The Belkniga bookselling company and the Petrus Brovka Belarusian Encyclopedia Publishing House have prepared an exhibition dedicated to the 500th anniversary of the Belarusian and East European book printing. It will feature the best new Belarusian releases in all fields.

The Belarusian pavilion is set to comprise 14 sections: mechanical engineering, space technologies, microelectronics and solar energy, electric transport, a project to develop Belarusian-Russian engine, biotechnologies, hi-tech solutions, healthcare technology solutions, 3D printing additive technologies and nanotechnologies, chemistry and petrochemistry, ICT, youth projects, innovations in light industry, and the Belarusian literature.

This year the forum is dedicated to the integration of the regions of Russia and Belarus in high technology, innovation and the information society. The Belarusian pavilion is designed to focus on innovative solutions, hi-tech products, and Belarus-Russia projects.

The 4th Forum of Regions is powered by the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation and the Council of the Republic of the National Assembly of Belarus. Belarus’ national pavilion is organized by the Russian Industry and Trade Ministry and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
