F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG shows interest in cooperation with Belarus

MINSK, 7 February (BelTA) – Switzerland’s multinational healthcare company F. Hoffmann-La Roche AG is showing interest in investment cooperation with Belarus. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Belarus’ Deputy Prime Minister Igor Petrishenko and Adriano Treve, area head for Central Eastern Europe, Turkey, Russia and Indian Subcontinent (CEETRIS) of Roche, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian government.
The parties discussed possible areas of mutual cooperation and prospects for joint projects in healthcare. According to Igor Petrishenko, in the development of the domestic pharmaceutical industry, the government attaches particular importance to cooperation with leading foreign innovative pharmaceutical companies. He thanked Adriano Treve for the interest in investment cooperation with Belarus and expressed hope for further cooperation in introducing the experience of the European company into the national healthcare system.
Adriano Treve, in turn, expressed gratitude to Belarus for the opportunity to meet and confirmed the willingness of the Swiss investor to build promising long-term relations in the production of medicines.
