This year the expo will feature companies and official delegations from Grodno Oblast and other regions of Belarus and also regions of Russia, Poland, Lithuania, Gansu Province of China and other countries. Products and services of dozens of businesses and organizations will be on display both outdoor and indoor the Neman central sport complex. The expo will be co-located with the fairs of consumer goods, souvenirs, fruits and vegetables and handicraft products.

The international investment forum "Grodno Oblast at the Crossing of Borders” is scheduled for 11 September. The forum will discuss the problems and prospects of attracting investment in Grodno Oblast, the issues of cross-border cooperation in the tourism sector and international technical assistance programs. Innovative solutions of running a business will be in the focus of the section organized by the Free Economic Zone Grodnoinvest. It will bring together leading Belarusian and foreign companies in the financial and legal sectors, consulting and advertising. The topics for panel discussions will include long-term cluster development of the Grodno FEZ, the analysis of the Grodno region competitiveness, doing business in the Customs Union and the Eurasian Economic Union, prospects of business cooperation of Belarusian and Turkish companies, opportunities to participate in projects of the International Bank for Reconstruction and Development and many others.

Traditionally a business matchmaking event will be held for representatives of the Belarusian and foreign business communities.

Euroregion Neman is the most important international presentation event for Grodno Oblast. The expo is aimed at intensifying cooperation between the enterprises and organizations of the countries-participants of the Euroregion Neman.

According to the economy committee, Grodno Oblast generates 8.6% of Belarus’ GDP, 16.6% of agricultural output, 10.3% of industrial production. Today Grodno Oblast maintains export/import operations with 125 countries (exports to 91 countries, imports from 113). In 2014 the geography of exports expanded into 15 states. In 2014 a total of Br26.6 trillion was invested in fixed capital in the region. Grodno Oblast raised $137.2 million in foreign direct investment, of them $68.5 million on a net basis. Grodno Oblast maintains investment cooperation with investors from more than 40 countries around the world.
