MINSK, 5 April (BelTA) – Egypt is interested in the exports of Belarusian woodworking products. The matter was discussed at a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus Sergei Rachkov and Chairman of Egypt’s Chamber of Woodworking and Furniture Industries Ahmed Helmy, BelTA learned from the embassy.
The parties discussed the state and prospects of cooperation in woodworking and furniture production. The Egyptian representatives expressed interest in the supplies of Belarusian products, training specialists in Belarus and inviting Belarus to take part in the national project to develop a furniture cluster in Damietta.
An agreement was reached to organize a visit for an Egyptian delegation to Belarus.
