Egypt seeks cooperation with Belarus in production of animal feed

MINSK, 29 April (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Egypt Sergei Terentyev has held a meeting with Minister of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Egypt Mohamed El-Quseir, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties discussed the issues related to the activities of the Belarusian-Egyptian group for cooperation in agriculture.

Egypt expressed interest in cooperation with Belarus in the production of animal feed, in particular by attracting Belarusian technologies to Egypt, and interaction in the areas such as seed production, agricultural engineering and grain storage.

The parties agreed to sign a memorandum of understanding between the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation of Egypt.
