SAINT PETERSBURG, 21 December (BelTA) – The industrial potential of the Eurasian Economic Union remains significantly underutilized, Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko said at the expanded meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, BelTA has learned.
Addressing the themes of industrial growth and technological development, Aleksandr Lukashenko asserted that efforts in the new five-year cycle must concentrate on establishing a common cooperative space and accelerating technological progress. “It is evident that the EAEU’s industrial potential is far from being fully utilized. I am confident that we are ready to implement concrete joint projects in key industrial and technological sectors,” he emphasized. The president also pointed to a growing interest from the real sector of the economy in the financial support instruments available within the EAEU framework.
