ZHITOMIR, 2 October (BelTA) – Large machines and vehicles made by 15 Belarusian companies and ten Ukrainian ones will be showcased during the 2nd Forum of Regions of Belarus and Ukraine in Zhitomir on 3-4 October, BelTA learned from Yevgeny Vvedensky, Director of the exhibition enterprise BelInterExpo of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BelCCI).

The exhibition of outsized vehicles and machines has been organized by the Zhitomir Oblast administration and the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The exhibition will demonstrate Belarus’ and Ukraine’s accomplishments in the area of manufacturing cooperation and economic relations as well as future prospects. There will be 75 exhibits on display, including the latest products.

The Belarusian exhibitors will include Gomselmash, Belkommunmash, Lidagroprommash, Bobruiskagromash, Amkodor, MTZ, BMZ, and Belshina. They work hard in Ukraine. Some of the products to be showcased have already been sold in their thousands. Some of the products will be presented for the first time.

A large number of visitors – businessmen from various parts of Ukraine – are expected to turn up. The heads of nearly all the regions of Ukraine are expected to visit the exhibition. “We hope the event will help make our relations even stronger and upgrade the level of our cooperation,” the BelInterExpo director said.

The exhibition will be officially opened on 3 October although all the exhibits have already been placed at a site in the center of Zhitomir. A fair to sell products of Belarusian and Ukrainian arts and crafts will be held nearby.
