MINSK, 18 November (BelTA) - The National Agency of Investment and Privatization (NAIP) and the Greater Eastern Europe Business Alliance (GEEBA) have concluded a partnership agreement, BelTA learned from the agency's press service.
Negotiations were held at the NAIP office with a delegation of businesspeople from Hong Kong. The delegation consisted of top managers and representatives of companies involved in the production of laser equipment, machines for casting metal and plastic, electric motors and their components, chemical ingredients, and medical products, as well as the import of food products to Hong Kong. During the talks, the Chinese entrepreneurs expressed their intention to implement a number of projects in Belarus.
The delegation was formed by the Hong Kong Federation of Innovative Technologies and Manufacturing Industries and the Greater Eastern Europe Business Alliance. The GEEBA brings together Chinese companies from Hong Kong that are cooperating or intend to cooperate with Belarus, the EAEU, and Eastern European countries.
The NAIP has previously cooperated with this organization, and today Deputy Director Aleksei Pushkarev and head of the Greater Eastern Europe Business Alliance William Yim, formalized the partnership agreement with their signatures.
According to the document, the alliance will represent the NAIP's interests in attracting investors from China.
