GOMEL, 10 October (BelTA) – The international forum Business Days in Gomel will bring together 25 delegations from 15 countries on 12 October, BelTA learned from Irina Takoyeva, spokesperson for the Gomel Office of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

Attending the international business event will be officials and businessmen from Russia, Latvia, Georgia, Slovenia, Italy, Vietnam, Croatia and several other countries. Ukraine will be the most represented country with five delegations.

The program of the forum includes a plenary meeting and five breakout sessions that will focus on new aspects of doing business in Belarus and abroad, matters of interregional cooperation and interaction among chambers of commerce and industry, the use of information technology for business, the problems and prospects of free economic zones, and the promotion of youth entrepreneurship.

The list of participants includes heads of Belarusian and foreign companies and organizations, and also representatives of chambers of industry and commerce and diplomatic missions.

The Bryansk Chamber of Commerce and Industry and the Bryansk Oblast Business Incubator will hold a business matchmaking session for private entrepreneurs and heads of the enterprises of Russia’s Bryansk Oblast and Belarus’ Gomel Oblast.

The 13th national expo Business in Regions to be held from 12 to 15 October has been organized based on the interests of foreign delegations. The expo will showcase stands of institutions (banks, insurance companies, logistics companies) involved in the promotion of the foreign economic activities of Gomel Oblast.
