MINSK, 4 June (BelTA) - The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) and Aigen Solutions MMC, an Azerbaijani developer of automation systems based on artificial intelligence technologies, have signed a memorandum of understanding. The document was signed by Olga Gorelik, First Deputy Chairperson of the BUCE Board, and by Ismayil Mammadli, Director of Aigen Solutions, BelTA learned from the BUCE press service.

The signing ceremony took place during a visit by an Azerbaijani business delegation to BUCE, organized with the support of the Azerbaijan Export and Investment Promotion Agency (AZPROMO).

Under the memorandum, the parties plan to develop cooperation on the implementation of AI technologies to optimize and improve the efficiency of business processes related to the organization and conduct of exchange trading. One of the key areas of collaboration will be the integration of AI solutions into BUCE’s infrastructure and operational activities, which will enable the automation of large-scale data analysis, market trend forecasting, and risk management. In addition, BUCE and Aigen Solutions intend to establish regular consultations and exchange expertise on the use of digital technologies in the trading sector, as well as to implement joint projects aimed at testing AI solutions in real-world exchange trading conditions.

“The implementation of artificial intelligence systems is not just a nod to a technological trend, but an objective necessity for a modern exchange. Such solutions improve the accuracy of market data analysis, optimize trading processes, and minimize operational risks. Furthermore, the automation of routine tasks frees up time and resources, allowing us to focus on strategic development and high-quality service for market participants,” Olga Gorelik emphasized.

“Through this partnership with BUCE, we will be able to adapt cutting-edge AI technologies to the real-world challenges of exchange trading. I am confident that our joint efforts will yield flexible, scalable digital solutions that will bring practical benefits to both the exchange and its clients around the world,” said Ismayil Mammadli.

Currently, 218 residents of Azerbaijan are accredited with BUCE. In the first five months of 2026, exchange trade between Belarus and Azerbaijan grew by 15%, reaching $48 million.

The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange was established in 2004; its first trading session was held in June 2005. The BUCE is one of the largest commodity exchanges in Eastern Europe. Its main function is to help Belarusian enterprises export products and assist foreign companies in entering the Belarusian market. The exchange trades metals, timber, agricultural products, industrial and consumer goods.
