MINSK, 25 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian Universal Commodity Exchange (BUCE) and Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CCI) Italy-Belarus are exploring options of cooperation. This matter was high on the agenda of a meeting between BUCE Deputy Chairman of the Board Oleg Yakubovich and CCI President Angelo Ilardi, BelTA learned from BUCE spokesman Roman Yaniv.

Angelo Ilardi suggested assisting with the promotion of BUCE services among Italian business by holding joint seminars, conferences, roundtables and other business events. He also expressed readiness to cooperate with BUCE in attracting Italian companies from among the members of CCI Italy-Belarus to BUCE auctions.

"Joint projects between BUCE and CCI Italy-Belarus can partly be financed from public funds of the Italian Republic designed to encourage cross-border trade and economic cooperation," said Roman Yaniv.

The parties agreed to elaborate the proposed options of interaction in order to build up trade between Belarus and Italy.
