Brestzhilstroi to build dwelling in Poland’s Gdansk

BREST, 10 August (BelTA) – The Brest house builder Brestzhilstroi has received an order to build dwelling in Gdansk, Poland, BelTA learned from Director General of the company Alexander Romanyuk.

“We established contacts with one of the Polish firms in autumn 2016. We found mutually beneficial areas and concluded an agreement of intent on long-term cooperation. We later opened a subsidiary in Gdansk, appointed a director. The subsidiary started functioning a month ago,” said Alexander Romanyuk. Brest constructors have already signed an agreement to build a four-storied en-bloc dwelling in Gdansk. The works were launched on 8 August. The Brest specialists were also offered three more projects in the cities alongside the Baltic Sea.

Brestzhilstroi also established contacts with a Lithuanian company. The Belarusian company is currently working in Kaunas. The company is also busy with certifying the right to sell their products to the EU. “A commission from Vilnius is expected on 17 August to assess the readiness of our plant. We hope to get the certificate to sell reinforced concrete products to the EU in September,” the director general said.

The Brestzhilstroi specialists are also working in Kaliningrad Oblast of Russia. The company’s subsidiary has been operating there for three years already. The Brest specialists took part in the construction of the stadium ahead of the 2018 EUFA World Cup. They are also building housing and working at the Pregolskaya CHP plant. The Belarusian company plans to embark on a project at the Primorye CHP plant in September and are currently conducting electric installation works in Lyubertsy.
