Beltamozhservice opens Belarus-Brazil logistics corridor
MINSK, 30 June (BelTA) – RUP Beltamozhservice has launched a service for delivering container cargoes from Belarus to Brazil, the enterprise’s press service told BelTA.
The new route targets Belarusian exporters intent on exploring the world’s fifth largest national market and offers a full cycle of logistics services from door to port.
“The Brazilian vector is a strategic step in developing the foreign economic activity of the Republic of Belarus. Taking into account the length of the route and peculiarities of remote countries, the enterprise has built a reliable delivery chain, having worked out every stage: from dispatch from a warehouse to terminal handling in the largest Brazilian ports – Santos, Paranagua, and other terminals on the Atlantic coast,” the enterprise stated.
The structure of the logistics solution includes organizing cargo shipment by road to the logistics hub Minsk-Beltamozhservice 2 and then by rail (or a full cycle of shipment by road for accelerated shipping) from Belarus to the port of St. Petersburg, complete with clearing the full package of shipping documents and strictly observing timetables for providing rolling stock for loading and unloading.
Provision is also made for booking tonnage on regular shipping lines serving routes to Latin America. The maximum sea transit time is up to 40 days. Vessel tracking is available at all stages, providing the client with timely updates on the cargo status. The service also involves a full cycle of customs procedures in accordance with the requirements of partner countries, terminal handling, and distribution.
