MINSK, 21 January (BelTA) – The Belarusian companies Belorusneft and Belzarubezhstroi plan to expand their activities in Ecuador. The issue was discussed in a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to Ecuador Igor Poluyan and Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Coordinator of Public Enterprises of Ecuador Patricio Chavez Zavala (in a post of Minister-Coordinator) on 20 January, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The parties paid special attention to the activity of Belorusneft and Belzarubezhstroi in Ecuador.

The meeting also highlighted cooperation progress and prospects between Belarusian economic entities and public enterprises of Ecuador in the areas of industrial cooperation, energy, oil, pharmaceuticals, supplies of potash fertilizers.
