Belavia to launch regular flights to Tallinn

Belavia to launch regular flights to Tallinn

MINSK, 22 February (BelTA) – The Belarusian air carrier Belavia will operate Minsk-Tallinn-Minsk regular flights starting from 30 May 2019, BelTA learned from the press service of the airline.

These flights will be operated four times a week. Belavia will depart from Minsk at 8.50 Mondays and Thursdays and at 15.50 Tuesdays and Saturdays. Belavia will leave the Lennart Meri Tallinn Airport for Minsk at 10.45 Mondays and Thursdays and at 17.45 Tuesdays and Saturdays. The flight time will be local.

A one-way ticket will cost from €93, including taxes and charges; a return ticket will cost from €178. The flights will be operated using Embraer 175 that can accommodate 76 passengers. The flight time is 1 hour 15 minutes.

“Tallinn is the so-called silicon capital of Europe and this fact is important for cooperation between the IT sectors of Belarus and Estonia. Tallinn is also a popular weekend gateway. The Old City quarter abounds in tourist attractions. Recuperation is another reason why tourists go there. The launch of the direct flights between Minsk and Tallinn will give a boost to tourism and facilitate economic growth of both cities. We have done our best to make this flight convenient for transit passengers traveling via Minsk,” Belavia Director General Anatoly Gusarov said.
