Belavia to launch Minsk-Anapa flight in summer 2018

MINSK, 20 October (BelTA) – Belavia will launch Minsk-Anapa flight in the summer season of 2018, which will happen for the first time since the disintegration of the Soviet Union, Igor Cherginets, Belavia’s Deputy Director General for Marketing and Foreign Economic Affairs, told the media ahead of the presentation of the Belavia new uniforms on 19 October.

“Starting early June 2018 Belavia will operate a Minsk-Anapa flight, which will happen for the first time since the Soviet Union collapse. The flight will be available the whole summer season when everyone wants to go to the sea, to bathe in the sun. We will see what the demand and the commercial result will be. And then we will decide, whether to extend this flight,” he noted.

At the moment the company is still in the process of calculating the tariffs. “They will be comparable with the air fares to Sochi and Krasnodar,” Igor Cherginets said.

“With regard to the upcoming summer season, the airline decided to start flying to Rostov beginning late April. These are our new offers for the time being. The more accurate information about the full summer season schedule will be available later,” Igor Cherginets added.

Belavia is Belarus’ largest air carrier. Based in the Minsk National Airport, the air carrier offers regular flights from Minsk to 49 destinations in 28 countries. The company operates a fleet of 26 aircraft, including five Boeing 737-800, six Boeing 737-500, seven Boeing 737-300, two Embraer 175, two Embraer 195, and four CRJ100 and CRJ200.
