Belarusian steel mill BMZ mulls over investment projects with industrial companies

GOMEL, 27 February (BelTA) – A number of investment projects with enterprises of the industrial sector are among the development plans of the Belarusian steel mill BMZ, Aleksandr Borikov, the deputy director general for commercial affairs of the company, told BelTA.

According to Aleksandr Borikov, more than 2 million tonnes of steel was smelted in 2022. BMZ. The year also made it possible to establish relationships with new partners, open new markets and launch new products. The plant completed the year in the black and with positive profitability, which had a corresponding effect on the employees' salaries.

The company is currently working on such an important area as the production of large-size tires and is buying new machinery.

The deputy director general emphasized that the plant is working steadily. This year the plant is mulling over investment projects with such enterprises as SITOMO, Polesieelektromash, Legmash Plant and Minsk Bearing Plant.
