Belarusian-Slovak enterprise to recycle electrical equipment to be set up in Orsha

VITEBSK, 12 May (BelTA) – A Belarusian-Slovak joint enterprise to recycle waste electrical and electronic equipment will be set up in Orsha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Slovakia to Belarus Jozef Migas told reporters in Vitebsk, BelTA has learned.

“We are currently working on a specific project in Orsha - a joint venture to recycle waste electrical and electronic equipment. These are TV sets and other equipment. We will install our line, and make investments. The enterprises will be inaugurated in 2017,” the diplomat noted.

The economic forum will be running for two days. Participants of the event will travel to Orsha for the visiting section Innovations and Prospects in the Logistics Sector. In addition, the forum participants will visit the leading enterprises of Orsha District.

The forum has been organized by the Vitebsk Oblast Executive Committee and Vitebsk City Hall, Vitebsk oblast administration for supervision of rational use of fuel and energy resources, Vitebsk Regional Marketing Center, the regional association of employers, the administration of the free economic zone Vitebsk. General partner is Vitebskenergo.
