MINSK, 20 December (BelTA) – Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the People’s Republic of China Aleksandr Chervyakov met with Vice Governor of China’s Heilongjiang Province Cong Li in the city of Harbin, BelTA learned from the Belarusian embassy in Beijing.
The parties exchanged opinions about matters concerning bilateral manufacturing cooperation, regional cooperation, and ways to enhance ties in trade, economy, science, technology, and humanitarian affairs.
The Belarusian delegation, which also included Belarusian First Deputy Industry Minister Andrei Konyushko, top managers of OAO Gomselmash and OAO Minsk Tractor Works (MTZ trademark), visited a number of leading manufacturers of agricultural machines in the Chinese cities of Harbin and Jiamusi.
During the visit agreements were reached on stepping up practical cooperation in manufacturing within the framework of the Years of Industrial Cooperation of Belarus and China, which will take place in 2026-2027.
