Belarusian Milavitsa to open store in Tehran in late May

MINSK, 18 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian underwear manufacturer Milavitsa intends to open its first proprietary store in Tehran, Iran in late May 2015, representatives of the Belarusian light industry concern Bellegprom told BelTA.

The store will be opened in Sam Center, one of the most popular shopping hubs of the Iranian capital. Another proprietary outlet will be opened by Milavitsa by the end of the year.

Bellegprom representatives said that the relevant agreement had been reached as a result of cooperation with the Iranian company Paidar Sazane Paytakht, which has versatile business interests and among other things specializes in finding promising manufacturers that could be represented in Iran.

Milavitsa started active collaboration with foreign partners in early April. The Belarusian company has welcomed more than one delegation from Iran, has arranged meetings with representatives of companies specializing in designing lingerie and in the interior design of shopping space. Guided by advice of the partners, Milavitsa has selected the models that are expected to meet the highest demand in the Asian country, noted Bellegprom representatives. A program has been put together to promote the Belarusian brand on the Iranian market. It will begin with the acquisition of at least €200,000 worth of Milavitsa merchandise.

The partners have also agreed the program of sales and store opening for 2016-2017. There are plans to open ten proprietary Milavitsa stores in Iran by the end of 2017.

BelTA has been told that apart from Milavitsa representatives of the Iranian side are ready for tight cooperation with the Belarusian men’s wear manufacturer OAO Comintern.
