Belarusian Gomselmash to test grain harvester in Pakistan

A grain harvester Palesse GS575 was shipped to Pyramid Logistics Company, a dealership of Gomselmash in Pakistan, at the end of July 2017. The dealership is located in the city of Dera Ismail Khan. The region is famed for its fertile soils where crops are harvested several times a year and the irrigation canals drain water from the Indus River, further improving crop yields. “Our machine will be used in rice fields. Rice gets ripe in early autumn there. The machine is fitted with the necessary adapters,” noted the source.

Last year Gomselmash tested three mounted rotary field forage choppers Palesse CH15 and a mounted mower-conditioner Palesse CT42 in Pakistan with positive results.

The Pakistani market has its own peculiarities. Small farms represent the backbone of the country’s agriculture, this is why primarily mounted agricultural machines are in demand. “Nevertheless, we hope that the small and maneuverable economy-class self-propelled harvester Palesse GS575 will fit the bill. The machine was actually designed for countries where grain crops are cultivated using small fields with a low yield,” said Yuri Rafeyev.

The company offers grain harvesters and forage harvesters, ear corn harvesters and potato harvesters, mowers, and other agricultural machines. The Palesse brand is used to market 16 types of agricultural machines, 75 basic models and modifications, 70 kinds of adapters and implements for harvesting various crops.
