MINSK, 4 May (BelTA) – The Belarusian delegation held more than 100 meetings during the 13th International Agriculture Show SIAM 2018 held in Meknes (Morocco) on 24-28 April, BelTA has learned from the National Center for Marketing and Price Study at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Belarus, the organizer of Belarus’ national exposition in Morocco.

Belarus showcased its farm machines, R&D in the petrochemical industry, education and science. MTZ, Gomselmash, Bobruiskagromash and Amkodor farm machines and Belshina tires were especially popular with the exhibition visitors.

“The Belarusian specialists held presentations of the country’s export potential, held more than 100 meetings with representatives of the business community from Morocco and other countries in the region, established numerous contacts, and reached arrangements on signing a number of documents. The Belarusian exhibitors received a lot of proposals to establish dealer relations,” the center informed.

The Belarusian exhibition was attended by Crown Prince Moulay Hassan of Morocco, high-ranking government officials and representatives of the business community.

This year, SIAM expo featured exhibits from more than 20 countries including Belarus, Germany, Italy, Belgium, Turkey, Russia. The Netherlands was the guest of honor. The expo spanned more than 181,000 square meters and drew more than 1 million visitors.
