Belarusian crypto banks allowed to process 26 tokens

MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – As part of the efforts to implement the president’s decree No.19 of 16 January 2026 “On crypto banks and certain matters of control in the sphere of digital signs (tokens)” the Hi-Tech Park together with interested parties has developed a regulation on the procedure for crypto banks to carry out operations involving digital signs (tokens), which was approved by the HTP Supervisory Board on 15 April, representatives of the Hi-Tech Park told BelTA.

The document defines how crypto banks can carry out operations involving tokens, including a list of transactions with tokens as well as a list of tokens that a crypto bank can perform transactions with.

Crypto banks are allowed to carry out 11 types of operations with tokens, including attracting tokens into crypto deposits, lending tokens, staking, pledging of tokens, crypto guarantees, custodial storage, transfer of tokens between clients, the creation and placement of their own tokens, and other operations.

It is also determined that a crypto bank has the right to perform transactions with 26 tokens specified by the regulation as well as with tokens created and floated by HTP crypto residents as part of an initial coin offering (ICO).

The expressly specified tokens are among the top 100 tokens according to the CoinMarketCap platform and are not anonymous tokens.
