MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) - Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to China Aleksandr Chervyakov held a video conference meeting with the leadership of Belarusian business unions and associations, BelTA learned from the Belarusian diplomatic mission in Beijing.
The head of the diplomatic mission outlined the embassy’s ongoing efforts to boost the export of domestic products and attract investment.
The leadership of the business unions and associations expressed the interest of Belarusian companies in further cooperation with Chinese businesses. Proposals were made to intensify the partnership.
Diplomatic relations between the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China were established on 20 January 1992. In September 2022, on the sidelines of Shanghai Cooperation Organization events, the leaders of Belarus and China adopted a joint declaration on establishing the highest level of relations in history – an all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership. In March 2023, during the state visit of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko to China, the leaders of the two countries adopted a joint statement on the basic principles for developing exemplary all-weather and comprehensive strategic partnership relations between Belarus and China in the new era.
