Belarusian business invited to attend Economic Forum Velden in Austria

MINSK, 12 May (BelTA) – Austria has invited Belarusian business to take part in Economic Forum Velden 2018, the Belarusian Economy Ministry posted on its website after the meeting between Belarusian Deputy Economy Minister Pavel Utyupin and a delegation from Austria’s Carinthia led by Christian Benger, Economy Minister of the Government of Carinthia.

Pavel Utyupin emphasized that Belarus is interested in boosting the trade with Austria and presented opportunities for strengthening the investment cooperation between the countries. He said that tourism, woodworking industry, and agriculture are promising cooperation areas. Pavel Utyupin invited Austrian business to set up joint ventures at the China-Belarus industrial park Great Stone.

Christian Benger noted that the Austrian delegation that is currently in Belarus includes representatives of ten companies of Carinthia. He shared his positive impressions of the meetings and negotiations with the Belarusian colleagues that took place on 11 May, and expressed interest in implementing joint projects with Belarus. Christian Benger invited Belarusian companies, that would like to establish new ties and conclude new deals with Austrian business, to attend Economic Forum Velden 2018.
