Belarusian BelAZ ships two 240t haulers to Kachkanarsky mining plant
MINSK, 15 June (BelTA) - The Belarusian heavy truck manufacturer BelAZ has shipped two 240t haulers to the Kachkanarsky Ore Mining and Processing Plant in Sverdlovsk Oblast, Russia, BelTA learned from the press service of the company.
“Two 240-tonne rock haulers BelAZ-75313 have been added to the fleet of the EVRAZ Kachkanarky Ore Mining and Processing Plant (EVRAZ KGOK). These vehicles combine load capacity, technical characteristics and comfort,” the press service stressed.
BelAZ-75313 boasts extended functionality, fuel efficiency, high maneuverability, smooth running and stability on the road. The advanced technical solutions embodied in it make the rock hauler reliable, safe and as efficient as possible. According to the company, the 240-tonne haulers for the EVRAZ KGOK have been designed to meet individual customer specifications and have been equipped with additional devices. The vehicles have enhanced driver comfort conditions: thermal and vibration insulation, as well as effective heating and ventilation systems to ensure optimal temperature in all weather conditions.
According to the plant, the first 240-tonne BelAZ was put into operation at the EVRAZ KGOK in August 2019. It became a pioneer rock hauler for mining companies in Sverdlovsk Oblast in the class of equipment of such an impressive lifting capacity. Belarusian vehicles were delivered to the plant as part of an investment program to further expand the production capacities of one of Russia's largest iron ore producers.
Especially for the BelAZ haulers the Kachkanarsky Ore Mining and Processing Plant built technological roads over 20m wide, a box and a car wash, and purchased equipment for their maintenance. As a result, by the end of 2019, two more mega rock haulers of the same type entered the line. Today, taking into account two new Belarusian heavy-duty trucks, five 240-tonne haulers of the Belarusian brand will be used at the Kachkanarsky Ore Mining and Processing Plant.
