MINSK, 2 April (BelTA) – Belarusbank has launched a program to offer preferential-rate loans for buying Geely cars, the bank’s press service told BelTA.

The loans are available with an interest rate of only 1.9% per annum (the refinancing rate minus 8.6 percentage points) in the first two to three years. After that period the interest rate will be increased by 2.5 percentage points.

The bank is ready to lend money to cover up to 90% of the car’s cost. The more money the customer is ready to bring, the longer the preferential lending period is.

If the customer covers 10% of the car’s cost, then the preferential lending period will be two years. If the customer covers 25%, the period will be extended to three years.

The money can be lent for up to seven years. Early repayment of the loan is an option. The income of one guarantor can be added to the customer’s income in order to calculate the maximum sum of the loan.
