MINSK, 28 November (BelTA) - Belarusbank and the German bank KfW IPEX-Bank signed the basic loan agreement in Frankfurt-am-Main on 27 November, BelTA learned from the Belarusian bank.

“Belarus’ largest bank has been actively working to expand the list of its foreign partners in order to diversify the credit portfolio. The signing of the basic loan agreement with KfW IPEX-Bank will provide an opportunity to attract ECA-covered loans to finance foreign trade contracts concluded between Belarusian importers and their foreign contractors,” Belarusbank said.

KfW IPEX-Bank GmbH is a subsidiary of the KfW Group. Founded 60 years ago, the Bank has provided project and corporate finance and offers trade and export finance in Germany and abroad.
