Belarus welcomes more tourists from Turkey

Belarus welcomes more tourists from Turkey

MINSK, 27 August (BelTA) – More Turkish tourists are coming to Belarus as part of group tours, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Turkey to Belarus Kezban Nilvana Darama told BelTA ahead of a visit of Turkey’s Minister of Foreign Affairs Mevlut Cavusoglu to Minsk.

According to the diplomat, tourism is one of the promising areas of cooperation between Belarus and Turkey. She said that Belarusian tourists are well aware of Turkish resorts and regularly come to Turkey for recreation and excursions. “I have recently noticed a positive trend in the increasing number of Turkish tourists coming to Minsk and other cities to get familiar with Belarusian landmarks. We would like to see more our tourists in your country. We are always happy to see Belarusian tourists in Turkey,” the ambassador added.

She emphasized the importance of the dialogue which is maintained between the tourism agencies of Belarus and Turkey. Travel business representatives of the two countries discuss ways to develop contacts and outline joint projects.

Kezban Nilvana Darama expressed her admiration of the Belarusian nature, which, according to her, is an attraction for Turkish tourists.
