Belarus’ Vitebsk Oblast to showcase its economic, cultural potential in Moscow

MOSCOW, 17 October (BelTA) – The presentation of Vitebsk Oblast’s potential will take place at the Business and Cultural Center of the Belarusian embassy in Russia on 19 October, BelTA learned from the press service of the Belarusian diplomatic mission.

The presentation will be divided into several themed blocks. The first of them will include an exhibition of Vitebsk Oblast companies-exporters and their investment proposals. Visitors will have a chance to get familiar with products of the companies from FEZ Vitebsk, Vitebskprom Association, producers of the consumer goods industry, high-precision optical equipment, medical devices, engineering tools, water-purifying and hoisting equipment, radio electronics and cable products.

A separate exposition will feature food companies of Vitebsk Oblast.

The third themed block will tell about the cultural potential of Vitebsk Oblast: 12th-century murals of St. Euphrosyne Monastery of Polotsk, works of Marc Chagall and Yehuda Pen, manuscript books and ancient traditional costumes.

Attending the event will be Vitebsk Oblast Governor Nikolai Sherstnev, directors of Vitebsk Oblast companies, heads of several Russian regions, representatives of the Union State Permanent Committee, the Russian Chamber of Commerce and industry, diplomats of third countries accredited in Moscow.
