Belarus, Vietnam mull over joint assembling of MAZ passenger vehicles

MINSK, 24 May (BelTA) – Prospects for setting up a joint company to assemble passenger vehicles of Minsk Automobile Plant (MAZ trademark) were discussed at the meeting of Belarus’ Ambassador to Vietnam Valery Sadokho with representatives of the Vietnamese Corporation SAMCO, BelTA learnt from the press service of the Belarusian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Valery Sadokho is on a working trip to Hochimin on 23-24 May. The head of the Belarusian diplomatic mission met with Chairman of People’s Committee of Hochimin Nguyen Thanh Phong, and representatives of business community. In the course of the meeting, the parties discussed prospects for strengthening trade, economic and scientific cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam's business center.
