MINSK, 7 April (BelTA) – Belarus and Turkey intend to step up investment cooperation, BelTA learned from the website of the Belarusian Economy Ministry after a recent meeting of Belarusian First Deputy Economy Minister Dmitry Krutoi and Ambassador of Turkey to Belarus Kezban Nilvana Darama.

During the meeting the sides discussed topical aspects of Belarus-Turkey bilateral cooperation, the state and prospects of development of trade and economic cooperation, and joint projects in the area of telecommunications, woodworking, light industry, and the service sector.

Close attention was paid to concrete tasks, which accomplishment is expected to intensify investment cooperation between Belarus and Turkey.
