The official said: “Belarusian Railways pays close attention to the development of freight transportation with China. This kind of transportation develops rapidly thanks to efforts of the sides. This year we intend to transport over 4,000 container trains from China to Europe and from Europe to China via Belarusian Railways.”

Igor Shilov also thanked all the parties, who had made regular container freight transportation from Hebei Province, China possible. Trains are expected to travel from Hebei Province to Belarus 3-4 times per month and from Belarus to Hebei Province 2 times per month. “We are convinced it will be a success.
