Belarus to take part in tourism exhibitions in Moscow, Beijing, Tashkent

MINSK, 19 August (BelTA) – Belarus’ national stand will be presented at tourism exhibitions in Moscow, Beijing and Tashkent, BelTA learned from the National Tourism Agency.

Belarus’ national stand will be presented at the Otdykh [Leisure] tourism exhibition in Moscow on 17-19 September, travel and tourism events in Beijing on 16-18 October and Tashkent on 14-16 November.

"The presentation of Belarusian stands at international exhibitions is important in promoting the country's tourism potential," said Dmitry Morozov, director of the National Tourism Agency.

In addition, the National Tourism Agency is working to host foreign tour operators as part of information tours.

"In addition to presenting the main Belarusian attractions, such tours also highlights events, an important component of any trip. A concert or festival with local flavor is always about vivid emotions and a pleasant aftertaste after a tourist trip," the National Tourism Agency added.

Dmitry Morozov stressed that the Belarusian flavor and identity is what attracts foreign tourists, and what should be present in every tourist travel route.
