Belarus to take part in MUSIAD Expo in Turkey

MINSK, 20 July (BelTA) – Belarus’ national exposition will be presented in Istanbul on 2-5 November as part of MUSIAD Expo, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing.

The participation of domestic enterprises in the national exposition within the framework of MUSIAD Expo will contribute to the establishment of new business contacts with potential partners, and to promoting and diversifying Belarusian exports.

"Turkey is an important partner of Belarus, which is confirmed by the trade growth statistics. According to the National Statistical Committee, last year the trade between the two countries amounted to $1,081.6 million (up by 46% over 2020). Exports totaled $360.5 million (270%), imports came at $721.1 million (119%). In 2021, the trade in services between Belarus and Turkey amounted to $94.8 million (162%). Exports made up $52.8 million (134%), imports - $42 million (220%)," the center said.

The National Center for Marketing provides comprehensive support to domestic enterprises in organizing their participation in the exposition: priority location in the exhibition complex, development of an individual stand design , advertising and information support, and comprehensive solution of organizational issues. The National Center for Marketing together with the Embassy of Belarus in Turkey and the Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association MUSIAD will also assist in attracting potential partners to the Belarusian stand for meetings and negotiations.

MUSIAD Expo is Turkey's largest multidisciplinary event, which is held by the Turkish Independent Industrialists and Businessmen's Association MUSIAD with the support of the Turkish government every two years. In 2020, the event drew more than 500 companies and over 100,000 visitors from 125 countries.

MUSIAD Expo runs the following sections: food industry, agriculture, construction, mechanical engineering and automotive industry, machine tool building, metallurgy, petrochemical industry, pharmaceuticals and healthcare, service sector, tourism, real estate, consumer goods, furniture, energy, logistics, information technology, textile, clothing and footwear industries, leather goods.
