Belarus to take part in International Trade and Industrial Fair in Pakistan

MINSK, 20 February (BelTA) - Belarusian enterprises may consider joining a collective exposition at the International Trade and Industrial Fair (ITIF) in Karachi, Pakistan which is due on 10-12 May. The event may help find new partners and develop initiatives with counterparties, BelTA learned from the National Center for Marketing and Price Study.

“ITIF is considered the leading international specialized exhibition in the South Asian region, which is held with the support of the government of Pakistan and the Karachi Chamber of Commerce and Industry,” the marketing center said.

The main sections of the exhibition include agriculture, automobile manufacturing, machine tool engineering, energy, metallurgy, construction, mining, petrochemicals. More than 350 companies from China, Iran, UAE, Türkiye, Belgium, Germany and other countries participate in Pakistan’s ITIF every year. The number of visitors exceeds 40,000 people.

According to the National Center for Marketing and Price Study, at the eighth meeting of the joint Belarusian-Pakistani commission held in February, the parties reached numerous agreements to promote cooperation in trade and economy, which opens up additional opportunities for domestic businesses in considering their interests in the Pakistani market.
