Belarus to take part in Army 2015 expo in Russia

MINSK, 11 June (BelTA) - A Belarusian delegation will take part in the Army 2015 international military fair at the Patriot culture and leisure park of the Russian Armed Forces in the town of Kubinka, Moscow Oblast, on 16-19 June, BelTA learned from Vladimir Levrenyuk, a representative of the department of information and public relations at the State Military Industrial Committee of Belarus.

The Belarusian delegation will be headed by Deputy Chairman of the State Military Industrial Committee Dmitry Pantus. He is set to hold meetings and talks with senior officials of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia, the Federal Service for Military-Technical Cooperation and a number of leading corporations and organizations of the defense industrial complex of Russia.

Attending the forum will be representatives of the military and the diplomatic corps of more than 100 countries. Innovative ideas and high-tech solutions will be shown by more than 500 companies: leading public corporations, enterprises of the defense industrial complex of Russia, research institutions, civilian and military universities, designers and manufacturers of weapons, military and special-purpose equipment and also major foreign manufacturers.

Belarus will be represented by the organizations that make part of the State Military Industrial Committee and are the defense sector of the economy and take part in the state defense procurement programs of Russia and cooperate with Russian partners in the scientific, technical and industrial areas. These are the Geoinformation Control Systems Holding Company, Design Bureau Display, 558 Aircraft Repair Plant, Minsk Wheel Tractor Plant, Peleng, Minotor-Service company, BelOMO Holding Company, Vitebsk Plant of Electronic Components Monolit and the research and industrial enterprise Atomtex.

For example, Agat-Control Systems will present the technologies used in the development of the troops and weapons automated control systems (ACS), the ACS of the information and technical complex Soldier-combat systems and the mobile radio relay station Р-434 (Tsitrus) and the automated control system of the radiotechnical troops (RTV).

The Design Bureau Display, a developer of robotic systems, will showcase automated remotely-controlled observing-fire system Adunok in the stationary version. Unlike foreign analogues, the system has a programmable firing mode and automatic target memorization.

Minotor-Service will show another promising solution: a mobile antitank missile system Moskit designed to engage stationary and moving ground targets: from modern armored vehicles with active amour to fortifications, low-flying helicopters and small ships.
