Belarus to take part in agro and food exhibitions in Azerbaijan

MINSK, 11 March (BelTA) - Belarusian producers will be featured at agro and food exhibitions in Azerbaijan,  BelTA learned from the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry.

In May, Baku will host the 27th Azerbaijan International Food Industry Exhibition (InterFood Azerbaijan) and the 15th Azerbaijan International Agriculture Exhibition (Caspian Agro).

Belarus will be represented by Minsk Dairy Plant No. 1, Bobruiskagromash engineering company, enterprises of the Belgospishcheprom food industry concern and other well-known domestic brands.

InterFood Azerbaijan will feature food, beverages, food production technologies and a wide range of halal products.

Caspian Agro will showcase farm machines, technologies for livestock, poultry, and crop production, veterinary medicine, plant protection products, various fertilizers and packaging. This year the expo will debut the section of smart technologies in agriculture: the "smart" village, the Internet of Things, process automation, etc.

The Belarusian exposition has been organized by the Belinterexpo exhibition enterprise at the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry with the support of the Agriculture and Food Ministry, Belgospishcheprom food industry concern, and the Embassy of Belarus in Azerbaijan.
