Belarus to reduce export duties on oil, petroleum products on 1 December

MINSK, 30 November (BelTA) – On 1 December Belarus will reduce export duties on oil and petroleum products that are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union. This decision was formalized by Council of Ministers’ Resolution No. 860 as of 29 November 2018, BelTA has learned from the website of the government.

The export duty on crude oil will be reduced from $152 to $135.1 per 1 tonne. The duty on straight-run gasoline will drop from $83.6 to $74.3 per 1 tonne. The duty on commercial gasoline will go down from $45.6 to $40.5 per 1 tonne.

The export duty on light and medium distillates will make up $40.5 per 1 tonne instead of $45.6. The same rate will be applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised upwards on 1 November.
