Belarus to raise export duties on oil, oil products on 1 April

MINSK, 30 March (BelTA) – Belarus will raise export duties on oil and oil products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) on 1 April. The decision is laid down by the Council of Ministers’ resolution No.176 of 29 March 2021, BelTA has learned.

In line with the document the size of the export duty on crude oil, furnace oil, oil bitumen, petrolatum, paraffin, and waste oils will be $57.6 per tonne ($49.6 previously). The export duty on straight-run gasoline has been set at $31.6 per tonne ($27.2 previously). The size of the export duty on commercial gasoline, diesel fuel, light and middle distillates, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants will be $17.2 per tonne ($14.8 previously).

The Council of Ministers’ resolution comes into force on 1 April 2021.
