Belarus to raise base amount to Br40 on 1 January

MINSK, 27 December (BelTA) - The base amount in Belarus will be increased to Br40 on 1 January 2024. The Council of Ministers adopted Resolution No.944 "On setting the base amount", BelTA learned from the National Legal Internet Portal.

Now one base amount equals Br37.

The size of some benefits, scholarships, taxes and fees, fines and other payments is tied to the base amount.
