Belarus to increase oil export duties on 1 July

MINSK, 30 June (BelTA) – On 1 July 2020 Belarus will increase customs duties on oil and petroleum products, which are exported outside the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU). The decision was formalized by the Council of Ministers’ Resolution No.378 of 29 June, BelTA has learned.

The export duty on crude oil will go up from $8.3 per tonne to $37.8 per tonne.

The export duty on straight-run gasoline will rise from $4.5 per tonne to $20.7 per tonne. The export duty on commercial gasoline, light and middle distillates will go up from $2.4 per tonne to $11.3 per tonne. The same rate is applied to diesel fuel, benzene, toluene, xylene, lubricants, and other oils.

The export duties on crude oil and some categories of derivative oil products were previously revised on 1 June. Then, they were also revised upwards.
