MINSK, 16 September (BelTA) – Belarus will showcase its innovative products of V-VI technological phases at the Second Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia in Sochi, Chairman of the Belarusian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Mikhail Myatlikov told media on 16 September, BelTA informs.

In his words, the joint Belarus-Russia exposition will feature industrial products of hundreds of Belarusian companies. Belarus will display its innovative products of the fifth and sixth technological phases, the BCCI Chairman said pointing to the sectors such as mechanical engineering, light industry and petrochemistry. He added that Belarus prioritized products made jointly with Russia.

According to Mikhail Myatlikov, a big number of contracts will be signed at the expo. Nearly 60 of them have been finalized and are ready for signing. Some others are at the stage of preparation.

It is expected that a total of $100 million worth of contracts will be signed at the forum. Mikhail Myatlikov believes that this figure is real. The joint Belarusian-Russian exhibition of industrial products will open on 17 September. Its theme is import substitution and the Belarusian-Russian industrial cooperation. The Second Forum of Regions of Belarus and Russia will take place on 17-18 September.
