MINSK, 2 October (BelTA) – The Domostroenie branch of Shklov-based Newsprint Mill supplied the first batch of frame-panel houses to Japan, BelTA learned from Ruzhena Novitskaya, the spokeswoman for the Belarusian timber, woodworking, pulp and paper industry concern Bellesbumprom.
The batch consists of two residential houses (90m2 and 60m2), and a 28m2 building of a café. The houses will be delivered by the end of October. Specialists of the Domostroenie branch will supervise the installation process.
The contract for the supply of residential buildings was signed following the visit of Japanese businessmen to Domostroenie. “Potential customers visited our enterprise last year. They learned about the production technologies and the quality standards. This year a Japanese company launched a project to build a recreation center for eco-tourists on Okinawa, so they decided to buy natural wood houses from Belarus,” Ruzhena Novitskaya said.
The Domostroenie branch of Shklov-based Newsprint Mill is a technologically advanced company that operates equipment made by Europe's best producers. It offers frame-panel houses, houses from glued beams, glued house-building beams, and various types of profile parts.
