Belarus’ State Authority for Military Industry sells to 57 countries in 2022

MINSK, 10 February (BelTA) - The Belarusian State Authority for Military Industry sold to 57 countries in 2022, Chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry Dmitry Pantus told the media on the sidelines of the collegium meeting, BelTA has learned.

The meeting summed up the results of the activities of the agency and organizations within its system. The participants also determined tasks to ensure stable development of the agency in 2023.

“Last year the country’s armaments industry worked amid the sanctions pressure from the collective West. The main focus of the sanctions was on enterprises of the military-industrial complex and organizations of the defense sector,” Dmitry Pantus said.

According to the chairman of the State Authority for Military Industry, one of the main achievements of the agency under sanctions pressure is the preservation of jobs and the planned implementation of tasks, both in the implementation of the state defense order and in the exports.

“The list of our importers reduced by only 11 countries in 2022. We supplied our products to 57 countries. We were able to do everything we could for our companies to get things up and running. A lot of logistical flows have been redirected. We work steadily and do not see any global problems in front of us,” Dmitry Pantus said.
