MINSK, 13 June (BelTA) - OAO KBTEM-OMO and Teksoli Inc. signed an agreement to supply high-tech equipment (circuits) during eMerge Americas expo, BelTA learned from the press service of the State State and Technology Committee of Belarus.
The agreement provides for the supply of the $300,000 worth of circuits. The supplies can be increased to $10 million.
A memorandum of understanding on training IT specialists, setting up science laboratories and joint organizations was signed between the Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics and Intetics company. The Belarusian State University and Adelphi Technology Inc. concluded an agreement to implement joint research projects and exchange students and teachers.
The Belarusian delegation headed by Chairman of the State Science and Technology Committee Alexander Shumilin is attending eMerge Americas which is running in Miami on 12-13 June. The Belarusian stand showcased over 80 hi-tech and knowledge-intensive solutions and projects of the Belarusian Education Ministry, the Academy of Sciences, the Hi-Tech Park, and other organizations.
