MINSK, 22 July (BelTA) – Belarus is interested in supplying butter and cheese to Indonesia, the press service of the Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry told BelTA following a meeting in Jakarta between Deputy Agriculture and Food Minister Aleksandr Yakovchits and the leadership of ID FOOD, one of Indonesia’s largest importers of food products, technologies, and solutions in the food and agricultural sectors.
“We are keen to supply Belarusian butter and cheese to the Indonesian market. The Belarusian Agriculture and Food Ministry can assist ID FOOD enterprises in preparing and forwarding commercial proposals to potentially interested Belarusian companies. Belarus is also ready to offer the Indonesian side a wide range of dairy and meat products, feed for poultry, cattle, and valuable fish species, and amino acids,” Aleksandr Yakovchits noted.
Representatives of ID FOOD expressed strong interest in importing food products from Belarus.
The parties discussed opportunities for product supplies, the development of a set of measures to implement promising areas of cooperation, and support for strengthening sectoral partnerships at the organizational level.
