MINSK, 22 April (BelTA) - Belarus and Saudi Arabia intend to bolster trade and economic ties. The issue was high on the agenda of a meeting between Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Belarus to the UAE and concurrently Saudi Arabia Roman Golovchenko and co-chairman of the joint committee on cooperation between the two countries, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for cultural affairs and economic affairs Dr. Yousef bin Trad Al-Sadoun, BelTA learned from the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

"The parties discussed the way of strengthening the Belarusian-Saudi trade and economic cooperation. Special attention was attached to the preparations for the first meeting of the joint committee for cooperation between Belarus and Saudi Arabia due to be held in Riyadh on 6-7 May 2015,” the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs informed.
